Day One

• 10 am Arrive Cobourg
  Book into the Best Western 1-866-262-6874
• 11 am Snack Arthur's Restaurant at the Best Western
• 11:30 County Road 45 north to County Road 22. East on 22 to Castleton. Left turn (east) on Cty Rd 25
• 12:00 Kokimo Candleland (free admission) that is seasonally decorated inviting those to take a tour of a small candle factory and enjoy purchasing candles of many "flavours" or choose from a vast array of candle holders. Free coffee and biscuits to groups.
• 1:30 Lunch at The Big Apple, Colborne. Bright, clean cafeteria-style restaurant, bakery, gift shop, nature walk and 30' apple. Phone 905 355-2574.
• 2:30 South on Cty Rd 25 into Colborne and you can continue south to Cty Rd 31 into Lakeport for a drive along Lakeport Road (part of the Waterfront Trail) to capture lovely views of Lake Ontario then you'll be making your way back up to Cty Rd 2. Or you can choose to get onto Cty Rd 2 right at Colborne and head west.
• 3pm Grafton for a visit to the 1812 Heritage Building which houses 3 quaint shops with books, cards, antiques and more.
• 4:30 Best Western, Cobourg for a rest. Those wishing to venture out can easily walk for 10 mins to the Northumberland Mall or the Cobourg Conservation Area
• 6pm Dinner at the Historic Cobourg Jail 905 377-9971. This is a fun place to dine which is a block from the Cobourg marina/beach. At Christmas time you can easily walk from this restaurant to the Christmas light display at Victoria Park.

Day Two

• 8am Check out of Best Western and have breakfast at Arthur's Restaurant
• 9:15 Depart for Campbellford
• 10am World's Finest Chocolate Outlet where you can enjoy purchasing seconds at low prices 1-705-653-3590 x248
• 11:15 Empire Cheese Outlet, Campbellford 1-705-653-3187. Call ahead and they'll have a tray of samples ready for your group.
• 12:30 Lunch Chubby's Restaurant (closed Jan/Feb), Campbellford 1-888-727-4444. Chubby's is farther down Cty Rd 8 from Empire Cheese by approx. 15 minutes. Home made food from soup to desserts. The roast beef will melt in your mouth. Will open for lunch for min. of 35 people.
• 2pm You can either shop Campbellford or depart for home.
