Trent Hills with a Boxload of Chocolates Tour

World's Finest Chocolate outlet in Campbellford is a yummy destination. North on Cty Rd 45 from Hwy 401 about 15 km and watch for Cty Rd 29 turning right. At Burnley (stop sign), turn left following Noonan Road (which turns into Concession Rd 3 West) all the way out to Cty Rd 25. Left (north) on 25 to Cty Rd 35 and turn right which will take you into Campbellford. Continue through Campbellford over the main bridge and this road will curve right at the top of the hill. Look for the Beer Store on your right (first stop) and the World's Finest Chocolate outlet across the street from it. Here you will find deals like "a bag of caramel bars for a buck" which you most definitely need for the rest of your touring.

If you shop the main area of Campbellford, you can find fun things like .99 cent goldfish at Stedmans or home made bread and donuts at Doher's Bakery.

Back track along Cty Rd 25 to Godolphin Road and make your way south into Warkworth where you can enjoy sitting in a beautiful park by the river. Then it is west on Cty Rd 29 out of Warkworth to Concession Rd 2 west which will take you past Century Game Park (view bison and elk!) and you may be lucky to see some wild turkey crossing the road. Bounce along the narrowing dirt road until you reach Porter Road which leads you to County Rd 29. Right on 29 to the stop sign and turn right which has you continuing on 29 and into Burnley once again. Keep left and it will take you back out to County Rd 45.
