Camping

Canoe down the narrows of the Trent RiverYou're in luck because camping in Northumberland takes on many different faces depending on which waterway you would like to be alongside:  the open waters of Lake Ontario and Rice Lake or the narrows of the Trent-Severn Waterway as you watch the boats navigate the system.

We've even got heavily-wooded rustic campsites - Castleton Hills RV Park on the Oak Ridges Moraine suitable for couples and small groups located above a 3-acre mini-lake in the centre of our County.  You can have an Algonquin wilderness experience only one hour from Toronto!

There's more from which to choose:

Trent-Severn Waterway
