Lace up your hiking boots! Northumberland is home to all kinds of amazing trails that are open year-round. Explore the rolling, forested hills of the Oak Ridges Moraine in the north... see the sights along the Waterfront Trail on the northern shores of Lake Ontario... or head northeast to Trent Hills where you can discover the Northumberland portion of the Trans Canada Trail (abandoned rail line). You'll also find trails along the sparkling Trent-Severn Waterway near Campbellford, and in nearby Ferris Provincial Park.
